Doug Friedman is a professional psychologist with over 25 years of experience, currently completing postdoctoral training in clinical psychology while also working in human resource management in healthcare. He excels at listening with empathy and establishing rapport with clients. He assists clients in overcoming anxiety, phobias, depression and difficulties adjusting to major life changes by helping them explore the way they think about their lives and the world, replacing problematic patterns with a positive, empowering outlook. Doug’s areas of expertise include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis and Psycho-Educational Assessment.
In his second role, as Manager of Human Resources Initiatives at Western Connecticut Health Network, Doug works in a variety of behaviorally oriented areas, including manager development, organizational assessment through interviewing and surveying employees, improvement of customer service, and engaging employees in organizational change.
