Bridget Walsh completed her training as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Stony Brook University in 2014. Since that time, she has worked in psychiatric emergency, outpatient and inpatient settings providing a range of services, including assessment, psychotherapy and medication management with children, adolescents, and adults. She was an Adjunct Professor in the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies and a Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry at Stony Brook Medicine. Bridget has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and served on an inpatient multidisciplinary DBT team. She is skilled in treating a wide range of symptoms and diagnoses, including anxiety, ADHD, depression and disruptive behaviors across the lifespan. She has particular interest and expertise in early childhood and autism spectrum disorders.
